I was running out of days in Feb. to get out as I would like to sail at least once a month for the year!!! Also I have just fitted a adjustable outhaul and I wanted to give it a go.
So I launched from the Dip in the offshore winds on my big gear and headed for Bawdsey,gybed (even manageing to fall in) and headed for the R.Orwell at Felixstowe docks.I managed to plan in places but the wind was lighter than I hoped !! I was going to give it 2 stars when the sun came out for 5 mins and I saw a seal !!!!
The outhaul system worked okay even if I did have miles too much rope dangling all over the place !!!
